Friendship Bench
Part of caring for our students is supporting their social needs, both in the classroom and during unstructured play times. In order to help students facilitate friendships on the playground, we have designated a "Friendship Bench".
When a student is having trouble finding a group to play with, they are welcome to go to this bench. Other students know to invite students sitting on this bench to join their play, and the playground supervisors also help match them up with other students on the playground.
