My name is Jesselee Beauparlant. I am excited to welcome your child into grade 2! This is an exciting year as we embark on your child's learning adventure. You and I are a team to help your child navigate this year's challenges as your child grows and develops. Your child's safety, learning, and physical/emotional/mental health is of the utmost importance. I can't wait to start this journey together!

Parent Tips
A family atmosphere prevails at our school with the education of your child being a shared responsibility. We encourage your interest in what your child does each day and welcome your involvement in the classroom, school council and at home.

Please remind your child to practice their home reading on a regular basis.

Within the 'Home Reading' duotang there is a list of sight words to practice (I will cross out the spelling words your child has mastered).

Please have your child go on our digital levelled reading program Raz Kids and share their reading with you.

Our online library Book Flicks is available to all families, we encourage you to use this on a regular basis.

Spelling words are at the back of the home reading log, along with basic math facts for your child to practice.
Your child is going to great as long as we work together in understanding and mutual respect. I look forward to our year together!
